Why does MSN keep changing my name? - msn mac display name keeps changing
Microsoft Messenger (on my Mac) is constantly changing up my display name to a default name for each application.
There will be some of my friends too, but only Apple users.
Who knows this?

Me too, but not only in the Mac Messenger, but aMSN.
It is therefore clear that not only the Mac Messenger.
But it is very frustrating.
Mine is my screename that was in 2002 when I created my account to return very embarrassing.
It is hoped that something needs to be fixed.
I have the same problem as other Mac users on my list. I recently upgraded to MSN 7.0 to 7.0.2, but could be a coincidence when you consider the problem applies to aMSN.
It sounds like something that causes the device somewhere in the databases of Microsoft. This is logical because a web-messengers are also able to retrieve your username.
Anyway, I hope it is connected to the launch of MSN 8 for Mac (which should now be closed). But of course it would be speculation.
Here too. It also hapens when I go out. Only accidentally reset.
